Issue Position

Less regulation and lower tax rates is proven to get people back to work. Business should be taxed on net proceeds, not gross. The proposed square foot tax is unfair. The creation of new jobs will expand our tax base. I will work with the State Auditor to cut excess spending, eliminate overlaps and stop the wasteful "use it or lose it" budgeting practice.
